The core ensemble on this outing features Alexa Barchini (vocals), Jon Cowherd (piano/keys), Tony Scherr (bass) and Kenny Wollesen (drums). So excited about my album "Slip Away" being officially released in Fall 2016. I am so proud of the music, and the folks on the tracks are incredible! Jeff Ballard, Gilad Hekselman, Dayna Stephens, Jon Cowherd, Maria Neckam, Chris Morrissey, and Larry Grenadier. Wow! Really looking forward to getting this music out in the world :) The music was recorded at The Bunker Studio by Aaron Nevezie. This photo is from the January recording session with Jon, Larry, (and Chico!)

A great capture and moment remembering a fantastic recording session for Slip Away. Jeff Ballard (Drums), Chris Morrissey (Upright & Electric Bass), Gilad Hekselman (Electric & Acoustic Guitar) & Dayna Stephens (Saxophone & EWI). On the album, but missing from the photo is singer Maria Neckam, who added some beautiful vocals and Jon Cowherd who blew us away with his additional Piano, Rhodes and Wurlitzer.
The record was recorded and mixed by Aaron Nevezie at The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn and mastered by Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound in Manhattan.
